I became a Histology Technician after graduation. We are the technicians that receive tissue samples from the operating room and do the special tests, so that our physicians (Pathologists), can present a final diagnosis to the Clinicians who have submitted the tissue. e worked in several area hospitals in the Hampton Roads area and Eastern Virginia Medical School. I have taught OR techs to do some special bronchial smears foe our department. I have taught Pathology residents to do some of our special stain techniques. I have two children and two grandchildren, and what have my classmates been doing for forty five years?
