Henry's Story
After graduation, spent 9 years in the USAF. Made great friends at Mather AFB, Incirlik AB, and Gunter AFB; many of whom I still stay in touch with today. After the service, I had the pleasure to work at Market Knowledge under the tutelage of President/owner Ken Lomasney who is one of my role models for life & business. Changed career fields to some degree and spent 15 years working for various Indian Tribe's and public gaming companies. I moved to Brookings, OR in Sept 2007 and am very happy to have found this great little corner of the world. I now am part owner of a renewable energy development company, and fulfill the role of Chief Information Officer, and Tribal Liaison.
My daughters Ashley and Amber are now 14 & 12, and I am a single father with sole custody of my girls. We enjoy our life very much, and just take each day as it comes.
Now for the shocking news ... I am dating Easter Barnett ... yes, my fellow classmate whom I probably never said anything more than "Hi" to while passing through the hallways :) But l...Expand for more
ife is strange, and we never know who will enter into our worlds!!
I miss NB and enjoy coming back every summer for my tribal Pow Wow, Ship & Shore, and Ross Maroney's Gaudy Green Open!!
I had a blast at my 30yr reunion, and it was great to see so many old friends from school. I have kept in touch with my boy Matt Debiak, Carter Vravis, Ross Maroney, all my Chicago friends whose parents had summer home and I hung out with at Camp Sokol (the Mickas sisters, Joe & Fran Melichar & Mike Winkler).
Didn't date much in high school at all, and probably my first real girl friend was Tina Carnell (Coloma '85) ... we had a great time together on and off from 1983 - 1988 ... I would have bet moolah we would've gotten married and probably would've if I wasn't such a knucklehead back then! lol ...... But she sure was something!!
As for now, I love life, my girls, Easter, and just the joy of doing what I want to do when I want to do it ... and on the work front, helping to make a difference for our native people across the country :)
