Henry "HANK"'s Story
After graduating from Perry High, I worked for about 2 months in Warner Robins in construction to get spending money prior to attending Savannah State College on a Navy scholarship. I majored in Electrical Engineering and after a few summer cruses in the navy I decided I wanted to pursue my previous endeavor which was Law Enforcement. I worked with Savannah State Police for a while than went to Savannah Police for several years. ury. I went back to college at GA Southern, working with Statesboro Police and graduated from GA Southern. I am currently working as Asst. Chief with Twin City Police and also I work with Millen Police. I am seriously considering retiring in about 10 years only because everyone (both jobs) are asking me to stick around for a while. I am the training officer with both departments. I live in Millen, married to Emma Williams Whiters. She is a retired school administrator and I have two daughters and two grandsons.
