New York Central rotary snow plow X-470 just back from the paint shop sits in Aptakisic yard, waiting on  Central freight to come thru to transport it to the NYC home road.
Another repaint job,  Soo F unit  #213, dons the new red and white scheme while coupled with a recently repainted wooden Soo caboose. Photo shot from atop the yard tower.

Rode the successor to this railroad.
Ours was a different color but those front fenders made great places to sit with neighborhood kids under the streetlights after dinner.

A pristine Also HH660 waits on a siding. Just out after a wash, 1601 looks new but is more than 40 years on the job.
#18 about to switch out the metal fabrication plant siding.
The Chevy dealer in town has some OK Used Cars!
This morning  WGN TV Channel 9 visits the Oak Park Model Railroad Club during it's seven "Around Town" segments. Tune in by 7:55 am to see the first of these reports from the late 1950's!
