y for 3 years prior to going back into Law Enforcement.
Life in a nut shell:
After retiring from Penrose - St. Francis Hospital Systems in 1988 as Senior Security Supervisor/Mgr, I returned to Law Enforcement with the State of Colorado Department of Corrections where I retired in 2005 as Programs Coordinator (Lieutenant) at one of our largest Prisons.
Wasn't ready to fully retire so I then opened my first brick and mortar retail store (Ragland Trading Post) which was soon followed by my other two businesses.
After loosing my left leg when I got gangrene from stepping on a nail which was followed by partial amputation of part of my right foot due having to pivot on one foot and leg getting in and out of chairs; I was advised by my doctors that I should consider total retirement. I made that happen in March of 2013 and have enjoyed several trips throughout the country since that time.
Now that my young wife has retired after over 30 years working in legal publishing with McGraw-Hill Publishing and Lexis Nexus; we hope to spend the next few years with travel and visiting this great nation we live in!
God Bless each of you!
