Henry's Story
Henry D. Scully
-Born on August-15-1954 at Toronto Grace Hospital as (Bernard Morrison), I was very shortly thereafter adopted by Harry & Dorothy Scully of Weston, Ontario and re-named "Henry David Scully". Joining my 2 previously adopted sisters (Carol-Sue aged 12 and Dorothy-Jodi aged 10).
Attended Pelmo Park Public School from Kindergarten to grade 4, then moved to Bramalea in May 0f 1964.
-Attended Balmoral Public School, Bramalea, Ontario - Went to grades 4 & 5 - (1964 -1965) * Designed the school crest in 1965
-Attended Clark Blvd. Public School, Bramalea, Ontario - Went to grades 6, 7 & 8 - (1966, 1967 & 1968)
-Attended Bramalea Secondary School, Bramalea, Ontario, - Went to grade 9 - (1969), then transferred to T.L. Kennedy Secondary School to join the arts program.
-Attended T. L. Kennedy Secondary School, Cooksville (Mississauga), Ontario. - Went to grades 10-11 & 12 (1970, 71 and graduated in 1972).
-Attended Humber College (Etobicoke North Campus) in 1973.
-lived in Bramalea (1964-1985), Brampton (1985-1988), Etobicoke (1988-1992) Mississauga (1992-1997), Georgetown South (1997-2004) and currently now living in Glen Williams, Ontario, since 2004 (part of Georgetown).
-Owned my own Disc Jockey business for over 35 years, performing at weddings and company dances, as well as having several night club contracts. Was the resident DJ at Sal's Disco at the S & S Hotel in Brampton (along with Mike St. Pierre and Tim L...Expand for more
ester), I was the main resident DJ at Bishop's Landing in the Cara Inn (Airport Road) across from the Toronto International Airport for 5 years, along with (Ed Murray, Joe Spina and Bruce Bushey)., Opened "Toucans" at the Marriott Hotel on the Airport Strip and also "Affaires" in the Skyline Hotel on the Airport Strip for 4 years, with Nick Furicci and Mike Ova. Also opened "Connections" at the Sheraton in downtown Hamilton.
-Traveled across all of Canada and visited every province twice. Spending several weeks in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia. Still need to see the northern territories and Yukon. Been in 46 of the US states (excluding Texas, Arizona, Hawaii and Alaska), Spent several summers in Bel Air, (Los Angeles) California, visiting for the entire summer visiting my sister and brother-in-law who were in the record producing industry and got to personally meet music artists such as; Steppenwolf (who were actually originally "The Sparrows" from Toronto), Three Dog Night, Janis Joplin, Clydie King, Nolan Porter and The Fifth Dimension and many more.
- Traveled most recently to Jamaica (Sandals - Nigril) and to Cuba (Karma Klub - Veradero).
-Married on August-15-2009 to Darlene (Underwood). She grew up on a farm in Cannington, Ontario. Darlene has 3 children from a previous marriage (Christopher, Amber and Leanne). We are also grandparents now four times to; Logan, Alexis, Dominic and the most recent Matthew.
