Herb's Story

Herb Ford is the Administrative Pastor at Cornerstone Harvest Church, one of the largest multicultural churches of its kind in the nation. He desires to see the kingdom mandate realized and implemented in the life of every believer. Born in Chicago,Illinois he was raised in Flint, Michigan. A Beecher High School graduate and 3-time all-state track and field selection, Pastor Ford received an athletic scholarship to The University of Toledo. While at UT he obtained all-MAC conference honors, competed throughout North America and obtained a bachelors degree in Administrative Services and Sales. Under the leadership of Pastor David Roberts, he joined the ministry staff of CHC in November 2000. Prior to being ordained as a pastor, he was an accomplished sales consultant for several fortune 500 companies including the world's second largest pharmaceutical conglomerate, Glaxo-Smithkline. el Pitts, where he developed as a leader in various facets of ministry. At Cornerstone Harvest Church, Pastor Ford gives direct oversight to the ministry departments, involving over 300 volunteers, as well as facilitates major events, property improvements, planning, budgeting, teaching, preaching and single/family life counseling. Pastor Ford also serves as a grant and federal aid coordinator on the School Board of Directors for The Heir Force Community School. He is currently working on his Doctoral degree in Church Administration at Friends International Christian University in Merced, CA. He and his wife, Melissa, reside in the Lima area and are co-founders of The Ford Legacy Investment Company LLC. They have been happily married for over twelve years and have a seven-year-old son named Christian.
