Herb's Story

I have been gifted with Three Wonderful Children and Eight Fantastic Grandchildren.... After graduating from Culver in 1956 I immediately went into The US Army and was attached to The Armed Forces Radio and Television Service...(Thought it would be The Motor Pool but tests put me in the AFRTS) Upon completing active duty I was offered a Partnership in The Family Business which I gladly accepted. I married Linda Glina my Jr. High. and High School Sweetheart..... I have been very fortunate to have enjoyed the family business in The Motor Vehicle and Parts Recycling Industry...My Son was "born in the business" and eventually became the 4th generation family member to manage the business...In 1999 we became part of the first c...Expand for more
onsolidation in Our Industry and in 2009, we became a Public Company 5 years later...So it has been quite and exciting ride that I have enjoyed very much.....I have continued to stay with the Corporation, as its Inter and Intra Industry Corp Relations Person and I also work with our companies Governmental Affairs Dept.... As soon as I find time I am planning to retire after 55 years in The Industry....But finding time to do that is not all that easy.... Besides Family, I enjoy photography and have two Street Rods, a '38 Chevy and a '52 Chevy that I enjoy tinkering with, touring and showing them at charity events. I live in Dana Point Ca. and am fortunate to have my children and grandchildren all living close...Life is GOOD..
