Herbert's Story

Hi everyone, I joined the Air Force in Oct 1960 and as I was ready to come home to Brockton after my 4 year comittment I met the love of my life and after a short visit back to Brockton and not able to find any past friends I returned to Ft Worth Tx and in Jan. 1967 I married Terry, had our house built in Arlington Tx. and we had a daughter and a son. I was in Retail Mgmt. for 35 years and retired in Aug. 2006. Terry and I lived a very happy life together for 45 yrs. until she passed away in March of 2008 at the age of 60, due...Expand for more
to a pulmonary condition. She was my life long companion and she will be in my heart forever. I still have my home here in Texas and I am undecided where I will spend my remaining years. I have been blessed with perfect health and plan to travel quite a bit in the near future. I would love to hear from anyone and everyone who remembers me and we can share all of our memories. This is the time of our lives that pretty much all we have left are memories. Thanks for reading this and I hope to hear from as many of you as possible.
