Life After graduation I joined the USAF. Had two sons. Then seven years nine months and twenty eight days later my discharge from the Air Force came in April 1969 . I was then employed by the Modesto Post Office. I was there until I retired in 1998. When the big day came, I retired, moved to West Virginia, what a feeling retirement is... Currently living in Iowa. Now have six grand-kids... ALL of 'em GREAT... It is now February 2005, I just returned from touring the valley of California and putting 8000 miles on the fifth wheel. We went the southern route through Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizonia and of course... Las Vegas Nevada before going on to California. We spent 30+ days in Angels Camp. (Modesto sure needs an RV camp) Now we're back in Rockwell City Iowa. Looking forward to our next road trip, see ya on the interstate... Nancy and I want to RV Montana... and see Yellowstone N P. While there do some fishing. Sure hope the fuel prices ease up some. Spring of 2006 is just around the corner. Our new fifth wheel will be here the end of March. Then it's time to hit the interstate again. Plans are to see Illinois and Missouri this summer. Then head for Las Vegas and the San Jauquin Valley for the winter. This time we will be away from Iowa until late March or early April. Currently we are in Tahlequah Oklahoma. Tomorrow we will head for Holdenville Oklahoma.
