Hilary's Story
Life
Ok so here it goes.
Soon after graduation, I took a position with the US Postal Service as a letter carrier, which I continued to do for the next 16 years of my life. During which I got married and had three children including a set of twin girls. I divorced after seven years of marriage and remarried several years later to my husband Ken. We then had another child, Steven. We have been married for a little over 12 years.
In 1999 I resigned from the Postal Service to be a stay at home mom and focus on a music career. In 2000, I cut and released a CD of Christian Pop Music. The CD was sold at Sonshine Christian book stores as well as various internet sites. ars. I have sung back up live, and in the studio for many professional musicians including Michael Mcdonald, Richard Marx & John Tesh. But my heart is in Christian Pop here in South Orange County.
Eventually, I had to get serious and went back to my "day job" I took a position with the US Department of Homeland Security. I am currently working with Immigration & Customs Enforcment as an Employee and Labor Relations specialist. I still sing from time to time, but mostly just at church or a wedding once in a while.
My three older children are in college. Two are locally at Sadleback and one of the twins is at Hawaii Pacific Unviversity. My youngest is 10 years old, and is playing little league and loves golfing with dad.
