Hildaraye's Story
I left Pensacola to fly to Chicago for UAL training school. I was assigned to National Airport (which is now Kennedy) in DC/VA. After a couple of years, I migrated to SO MD where I have lived ever since. The State of MD has rivers, bays, woods, mountains and oceans. However, Ocean City cannot compare to Pensacola Beach, but hey, it is what it is!
Over the years I have gone from one career to another; from one business type to another. I took skills away from every job I ever had and added-on knowledge I could not find at a school. "Street sense" paid off. Before I retired, I had 17 years of being an Office Manager/Hr Manager. I am proud of all my classmates who continued on to college and now have awesome jobs. een education enough for this "southern-born" girl.
By the grace of God, I raised two handsome sons. I also have a step-daughter and a step-son. Together, Bill and I have seven grandchildren and another grandchild due in October.
I frequently returned to Pensacola from the 60's through to the 80's. After my father died, my family moved to Seminole, whereby my visits continued there in Southern FL. The last time I saw Pensacola was June 2009, when we buried my Mom. I am proud to call Pensacola my home town. It has changed, but gracefully.
Bill and I both ride. Bill has his Harley and I have my BOOM Trike. We love going to Myrtle Beach and Daytona Bike Weeks. He and I would love to catch-up with anyone making plans to attend as well.
Please feel free to send me a note. I would love to hear from you.
