Donna's Story
Life
I currently reside in Florence, Oregon and have lived here for almost 13 yrs. I am married to 1972 Millikan graduate, Bill Flood, and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Tammy is 15yrs and Kayla is 13. We owned our own successful carpet cleaning buisness for 12 yrs. that kept us VERY busy and are currently making an employment change. Bill is starting work with Gordon Trucking and driving semi-long haul up and down the I-5 corridor. I am at home for the time being and looking to go to work at the elementary school here in Florence. Both of our girls are excellent students and are very much into sports ei:volleyball, basketball, softball. We love watching them play. alking on the beach, working out at the gym, listening to music, watching movies and traveling. Living in Oregon has been a wonderful experience. Florence is right in the middle of the Oregon Dunes on the central coast. There are numerous lakes and the Siuslaw River runs right through our town. We are also about 10 miles south of the famous Heceta Head Light House. The population is about 7,000 and growing. It was about 4,000 when we moved here!! We still have family and friends in Long Beach, so we visit there at least once a year. I have stayed in contact with my best friend from elementary school, junior high and high school, Julie Beckmen (Arnold) and have really enjoyed sharing our adult lives together. Life is good....
