Life
I retired again and have just come back from a 3 month road trip to Mexico. We drove an Excalibur car towing a 21 foot big foot trailer. We had a fantastic time and we were treated like royality by everyone. From where we entered Mexico at Mexicali the police gave us an escort with lights and sirens to where we purchase the import tag for the vehicle to Acapulco where we had a photo op with the Federalists (like RCMP or FBI ) to Matazlan where the police stopped us so he could get us to use his camera to take a photo of him beside our car. The Mexican people are very friendly and helpful and would give you the shirt off their back and ask for nothing and would not take anything from you. We met lots of new amigos and have their addresses for correspondance. Our children are getting older, the son is 28 and the daughter is 26. No grandchildren yet. the french language written and oral and now have the time to spend the winters in the south as an official snowbird. Then in 2010 I became a Grandma to a sweet little girl Cheyanne my son's daughter and then in 2012 I was blessed again with another granddaughter Cierra a sister to Cheyanne. So Grandpa said lets move back to Surrey to be with our little sweeties, so bought a place in Surrey went back to Quebec sold the place there and hitched up the trailer and drove out west again, had the Excalibur shipped by car. Now in 2015 our granddaughters are aged 3 and 4 and Cheyanne starts kindergarten in Sept and Grandma has the pleasure of taking care of the girls while daddy works. So Grandma is busy teaching the girls, sewing dresses for the girls and their dolls, knitting for the girls and their dolls, gardening, and generally enjoying my life with my husband of 39 years. Son is now 38 in June and daughter is 35 life is good. For my 60th birthday got a 2014 Subaru Legacy
