Kathy's Story
Kathy lives in Durham, NC and is married with Michael Reese. Her schools include Glass High School. She later attended The College of William and Mary (English and Philosophy), Lynchburg College (M.Ed., Counseling) and University of Missouri-Columbia (Ph.D., Counseling Psychology). She worked as a psychologist in counseling centers for most of her career, and was Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at Northwestern University for ten years and Duke University for six years. ently she is retired, but works as a psychological consultant for IES Abroad as well as doing other independent consulting.
Kathy and Mike have two daughters and two grandchildren - all of whom live in Columbia, Missouri. This is why they recently bought a condo there for long visits and re-connections to old friends.
One of Kathy's favorite quotes is:"The opposite of a true statement is a false statement - but the opposite of a profound truth can be another profound truth. - Niels Bohr".
