Holly's Story
Well, I kept getting these emails that said, "see who has signed your guestbook" and since I wasn't a member, I couldn't see nor did I really care. But ... since Karen has organized another reunion (Gosh, 35 YEARS!!!!!), I decided that I would bite the bullet and join!
Ok, since graduating (some days that seems like yesterday and others seem like a million years ago). I went to school, started working in radio (like the rest of my family), moved to Gloucester and got married in 1979 had a son in 1981, went back to work, moved back to Bedford then got divorced. Got married again in 1987 then divorced in 1995.
I went back to my roots after divorcing and worked in media/marketing/PR then moved to Wellington, Florida in 1998. I have to say I love the weather and could never see going back to those horrible winters again! I bought a small farm near the WEF show grounds, which if y...Expand for more
ou are into horses is a very big deal, if you are not, then it is a lot of property on dirt roads with smelly horse manure. I am also a founding director of a nationally recognized horse & foal rescue called Pure Thoughts. I have been a local Realtor and specialize in equestrian properties for the past 9+ years, and if I have to toot my own horn, was Realtor of the Year in 2005. Of course, as they say, that and $1.00 will buy you a cup of coffee.
My son John is now married to his long time girlfriend Kristen and they have a beautiful son Hunter who was 2 on March 14, 2009, so yes, I am a grandmother and proud of it.
I don't really know what else to say except that I wish I could attend the reunion but won't be able to. If anyone is ever in the South Florida (Palm Beach) area, PLEASE look me up! I will post some photos of my family. I look forward to hearing from you.
