Holly's Story
Life
I left Yucaipa five days after graduating high school. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. Life has a way of throwing wrenches into the mix. My mom passed away when I was 20. It was a very traumatic time and changed how I saw the world. I finished school at Cal State Long Beach and went to work for Max Factor cosmetics in Hollywood. I met my husband over the phone - he worked for Max Factor in North Carolina. I eventually moved to NC to be with him and we got married in 1986. We have been married for 21 years and have two great boys. Robbie is 18 and has started his freshman year at North Carolina State College (NCSU for you basketball and football fans). My younger son, Steven, is almost 15 and has started his freshman year of high school.

had Robbie, I stayed home and became a stay-at-home mom for 12 years. After that I landed a job with a professional ballet company (Carolina Ballet) as Box Office Manager. Unfortunately, I was layed off after 9/11. I am now working as a Teller supervisor in a local bank.
My sisters are the only blood relations left and my husband, Scott, is an only child, so we have a very small family.
I love to work on art projects and love learning new things on the computer. I love to travel and have been to France and England (London). My husband has introduced me to history like it was never taught in school. He brought it alive for me. We go to Civil War battlefields, Revolutionary War battlefields; we went to Normandy and walked down onto the beach where our troops fought in WWII.
