Holly's Story
Life
I'm still in Colorado after 10 years and still in school. I spent the first four years of college doing as little schoolwork as possible and met wonderful friends who help me retain my sanity even now. After undergrad, I spent a few months travelling around Europe and a few years working at various low-paying jobs before deciding to go back to school for a masters degree. That included spending 5 months in Bolivia doing research which was an amazing experience to say the least. I've now moved on from my original choice of archaeology to human dimensions of natural resources and am now working on a masters and PhD in that field. oud every day and I can't imagine life without her. She accompanies me when I'm hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, and climbing 14ers. I'm currently dating a wonderful guy, Thom, who is a perpetual student like me, loves the outdoors (he rode his bike across the country this past summer), and is a musician and an artist.
College
I got my bachelor's degree in natural resource management with minors in Spanish and anthropology. I spent 2 months in Costa Rica between my freshmen and sophomore years learning Spanish and how to salsa as well as travelling around that beautiful country. I was working on my masters in archaeology but have switched to human dimensions of natural resources and am working on a masters and PhD in that field.
