Holly's Story
Life
My husband and I live happily in Littleton, Colorado where we have been for 23 years. Our grown kids are Kristen - age 26 and working on a PhD in Psychology -...she's engaged to be married to a great guy next June. Our son, Jeff is 22 and wants to be a rock star. He's halfway through his junior year and is "taking a break" to figure out what he wants to do/be. He's in love with a great gal. (He hears a different drummer and is quite charming and interesting.)
We can wait to retire and do lots of travelling. Hawaii and Paris are favorites (especially Maui.)
School
I wrote the school stuff in the college section, so I'll do the college stuff in this section (just to be different.)
Seems outdated now...graduated in 1972 from the Univ of Ill with a degree in Secondary Ed, and completed an MBA from DePaul University in 1984 with a focus on marketing and man...Expand for more

College
High school was so much fun...school spirit and great kids. Can't believe that there were so few opportunities for girls to play "real sports"...field hockey and gymnastics and intramural basketball. My daughter played soccer and basketball and rugby on high school teams and had a blast. Also can't believe that girls couldn't wear pants to school. Guess I was secretly a feminist.
Workplace
Don't know how this happened, but somehow I have spent most of my career in banking. I started with Continental in Chicago (and will always be grateful that they paid for my MBA) and have now spent over 20 years with United/Norwest/Wells Fargo in Colorado.
I have been a management trainer and have worked in marketing, but most of my career has been in managing WF locations. I'm in my 5th location and hope that it will be my swan song (in about 5 years.)
