Honey's Story

Lucy Mae is now 7 years old and in the second grade! She loves it!!! Relocated back to the thriving metropolis of Parker, Arizona, when Lucy was 9 months old; where I was working for the school district, teaching high school English! Wow!! My old stomping grounds!! Currently I am working for the County in the Education Department, so I am still connected with the schools. I get to go into the classrooms as a guest speaker. We discuss the kids' futures', goals and WHERE they will attend college, not ARE they going to college!! LOL I always wanted to be a ??? when I grew up. My family and friends thought that I was a procrastonator. As it turns out, they were right! LOL. I like to read, watch t.v. and play with my daughter. She is the most important person in this world to me! My hero would have to be my parents. If you know them, then you know why and if you don't know them....then you need to meet them! They are awesome people! Okay, this story wizard is asking me "Where have you lived? Why did you move?....so here goes...In Arizona: Parker, Phoenix, Mesa, Parker and Flagstaff. California: Oceanside, Palm Desert and La Quita. Forget talking about why I moved...that would take too long!LOL The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again would be my buddy Cherokee Youngs...love e-mailing with her all the time AND she lives so close (in San Diego)....think we will ever see each other in person?? I think I am nuts for not going out there when Parker is so flipping hot!! LOL Obsessions it asks: .... none too busy being a mom! What I have learned from my daughter is laughter, unconditional l...Expand for more
ove and the pure joy of a childs voice when they call for: Mama! Which teacher would you love to see again? Why? Ironically, I see Sue Uden, Mr. Lamb and a few others all the time! LOL I saw Mr. Curnutt on a daily basis when I worked at the high school, until his sad death. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to charity, then spend the rest on savings, college for Lucy and then some shopping and vacation time for Lucy and I. To be truly happy, you would be where, doing what, with whom? I don't know if I will ever be able to answer a question like that! LOL I think my answer would change daily!! LOL My current age is 42. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be OLD!!. I was so completely WRONG!. What happened to your first crush? He is alive and well! My best friend would tell you I'm giving, loving, caring and happy-go-lucky, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as too serious. Got trophies on your mantel? Share a big victory. Well, yes I do have trophies...but hey enough about me... You get one do-over. What do you do differently? Almost everything.... just to see how it would turn out! My first job was at sweeping a sidewalk, where I got paid .25 to sweep!. What I remember most about it is I was so proud that I earned a quarter! My mom took a picture! Share a childhood memory you'll never forget. Holy cow! There are soooo many memories I think it would take me a week to type them all! Well, that's about it for now....may God bless each and every one of you who read this. And keep in touch, it would be nice to hear from some of you! :)
