Hooman's Story
I traveled to CA from England (where I was born) with my parents, at my dad's smart insistence and because he hated the weather in England. We decided to stay. I finished my secondary education here, jr. high, high school, university. I'm now a chiropractor for a major health organization specializing in occupational injuries.
Humility is something that's hard to find in people these days. Anytime I find myself ungrateful or impatient, I remember finding one particular bank deposit slip where after making the deposit at my bank, my account balance was $433.51. how far I've gone in life and the insignificant things I own that I never thought possible. I believe in good karma and do my best to spread it around.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is an ex, because I never knew how much I was in love until it was over..
If I won $100 million, I'd give 30 percent of it to my faith, the Baha'i Faith, then spend the rest on family and friends, travelling and investment and potentially useless material goods that will ultimately be willed out when I meet my demise.
In 10 years, I hope to be dead. I'm going to get there by partying excessively. Juuuuuuuuuuuuust kidding. C'mon. Seriously, I'm kidding. Sheesh.
