Howard's Story
Life
I graduated from Charlestown High school, class of 1959.I lived in Charlestown until 1961, when I joined the Air Force. I have been living in Texas ever since. I have 4 children,(3 daughters, and 1 son)and 7 grandchildren. I am begining my 24th year at Texas A&M University,in College Station, where I am the supervisor for the pest control shop, which includes the main campus, and a research campus, near here. My shop is also responsible for the George Bush Library, which was opened within the past 2 years. I am planning on retiring in September, of 2000, and am looking foreward to traveling some, and spending more time with my children, and grandchildren. Continuing.... ersity after 24 years and 1 month there. I retired on September 30, 2000.
I've moved from College Station Texas in February 2001. I lived in Abilene for a few months and am now living in Duncanville, Texas which is in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I was married in March of 2003. My wife's name is Jean and she's an elementary school teacher. She's planning on retiring in 2 1/2 more years.
Jean retired last June and is now working as a substitute teacher in pre K, through the 4th grade.
I also do volunteer work in one of the elementary schools here.
I also have some big news....... On Jan. 15th, I became a great grandfather!!!! that makes me feel kind of old....... His name is Lucas Scott, and he weighed in at 9 lbs 6 ozs.
