I graduated from Bowdoin College in 1965 and was comissioned in the Amy where I served for 28 years. I was married my first wife shortly after graduation from college. We had three children two boys and one girl. I remarried in 1992 and retired from the Army in 1993. civilan with the Army Board for Correction of Military Records located in Alexandria, Virginia. I retired from that job in June 2006 to supervise the building of my retirement home at St James Plantation, North Carolina. I have 8 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. I still have a house in Fairfax, Virginia, which I am trying to sell, so I commute a lot between North Carolina and Virginia.
