Hudson's Story

After graduation I drifted around, got married moved to Oregon. Where I went to work for the City of Salem. Bought a farm in the Silverton area and raised two sons, who still live on my farm with their families. "What a long strange trip it’s been...." mber the days when we knew each other? The snow's melted now, And the cherries are in bloom. So the wood violet can't be far behind. My lambs are fat and the pasture is greening up. And I thought of you. How did your life go? Did you do the things you talked about? Or did it all go differently? I hear you live in the city, that's about all I know of you. Funny at one time we were in the same place and we took such different paths. I don't suppose we will ever talk again, But today, I though of you, and I wish you well.
