Anyway, I've led as low-key a life in the real world as I led at EYCI. Marion and I have been happily married since Feb.22/1997. For those who actually knew me, that I'm married at all must come as a complete shocker :)
I pursued the television thing and was a cameraman from '83 to '87 and then decided (while working in Regina at the time) that editing at a constant 20ºC beat the tar out of freezing one's nether regions off at -30ºC. ll at EYCI (God rest his soul), was at the Canadian Film Centre with Sarah Polley (this girl is GOOD) in 2001 and have met various and sundry celebrities in the interim since (for what it's really worth [most notable: Hank Azaria at Sundance in 2004]).
That's probably the peak of my notability but it's been a fun ride. Hopefully, the rest of you yahoos will have enjoyably stories to share.
Hopefully, those of you that might remember me have gone on to bigger and better things which you'll share with the EYCI community at large. If I got a do-over in life, I wouldn't have been as shy as in retrospect I was until I was damn near over the hill. Hopefully, those of you who've had kidlets will have advised them accordingly.
