Whatever turns my life has taken, I attribute much of who I have become to the early start I got at Franklin K. Lane. Whether it was in class or one of the many co-curricular activities in which I engaged, I learned to be a friend, citizen, teacher/tutor, party animal and all those other good things at Lane. While there, I made significant friendships and I am blessed to have maintained many of those. In my travels to different cities and states and sometimes internationally, too, I manage to bump into an old Laneite, making travel never a scary proposition. I attended one reunion in 1978 that included only the Class of 1964 and a second, wih my sister, Sandi ('61), when Lane celebrated its fiftieth anniversary.
