Ingerbore's Story
Life
Ingerbore Dickson while in school. Married Bruce M. Robinson also a Mission High School Alum, had two children, Bruce M. Robinson, Jr. and Damien Ernesto Robinson. Husband died and left me a widow.
Married for second time to Carlos Alberto Rivera of San Julian, Depto. de Sonsonate, El Salvadero, Central America. Have been married for eight years. No Children.
I work for the San Francisco Housing Authority and have worked here for the past 15 years. Prior to the SFHA I worked for UCSF Radiation Oncology Research Laboratory. Have a nurses Aide Certificate, EKG Certificate and worked off and on as a Nurses Aide in the early 70s while in ...Expand for more
training for Licensed Vocational Nurse. Only completed 11 months of the training.
Briefly went to City College of San Francisco after graduation from Mission, but received full time employment with the Federal Government and worked on the Presidio for a while.
I went back to College and studied Sociology and the Spanish language. Completed 60 units and still plan to continue being educated. This helped me to better provide translation (verbal and written). I do the Spanish Translations for the SFHA (written and sometime verbal (answered the Spanish phone line until recently (Jan.2005).
I have six grandchildren. 4 boys and 2 girls.
