Ingrid's Story
Life
I enjoyed my years as a student at good ole Roosevelt High. But, my greatest memories are those as a Spanish teacher at Roosevelt for 13 years. Working with many of my former teachers, as Mr. Finley, Mr. Goodstein, Mrs. Reaves, Mrs. Hughes & Mr. Harder was interesting.

College
I enjoyed my college days at NCCU. After graduating, I taught Spanish in the DC public schools for 13 years and later moved to teaching on the college level. I taught at Hamption, Norfolk State, Jackson State, Johnson C Smith universities. As of 2003, I am completing a doctoral program in Language,Literacy & culture -specializing in Afro-Ecuadorian literature.
