Cheryl's Story
Life
I am married and have one Son! I worked 35 years at Hempstead General Hospital but they closed down in 2003, and I have been taking care of my Mother, who is ill, since then.
We have a "Puggle" (Pug-Beagle mix...2 years old), 2 cats, and of course an assortment of reptiles and fish. . . typical pets when you have a Son!
I've kept in touch with most of my good friends from EMHS, which is so nice. Most have moved away, and I hope to do the same. But right now with my Mother being ill and my Son not ready to leave his friends, I will probably be around a little longer. In case somebody doesn't remember ...Expand for more
me, I was the girl with long black hair that everyone called "Natasha"! I really hated that "nickname" back then, but my Son ended up having a friend whose REAL name was Natasha, and I actually liked it! It would really be nice to hear from someone from my EMHS years. I graduated in 1968 and was pretty quiet back then (not any more!) and was part of a small group of friends. Most live out of state now or chose not to attend, so I did not go to the last reunion, but I wish they had a type of "newsletter" to update those of us who were not able to attend.
