Irene's Story

Life: Mother of three sons (twins Doug and Ron Bailey, age 43, and Marc Bailey, age 40). Husband Dan (married since 1967) is a retired water company executive and currently has a consulting business (he flunked retirement). He is also a marathon runner and we have had many great vacations because of this -- Big Sur in 2005; then Maui in September 2006; Boston, New York, etc. I worked 20 years at the law firm of Baker Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowicz; and retired early...Expand for more
at age 55. Love living in Chattanooga, Tennessee -- actually Hixson, Tennessee, a suburb north of the Tennessee River on a high ridge overlooking Chickamauga Lake. Seven grandkids, ages 17, 16, 13, 13, 12, 3 and 18 months -- all within 25 minutes of home, so lots of interaction. Currently caring for 96-year-old mother-in-law. Also compiling DVD personal histories of the sons on my Mac OS X. Manage to keep busy with yard work/gardening and art projects. We are truly blessed.
