Irene Strafaci:  

I lived in Brooklyn until I was 37. My home now is in Morris County, New Jersey. I am married, with one daughter who is 19 . I am a home maker presently, but worked as an attorney and a law professor. My present roles include wife, mother, daughter and sister and friend. At the age of 55, I think I have experienced alot of things that I never could have foreseen as a high schooler. Some things were dreams come true like becoming a mother, marrying a wonderful man, graduating law school, having 90 plus year old parents and making dear friends. Challenges included iilness, loss, limitations and hard work. I believe that if you are not born lucky, then you must be very strong in this life. I remember my high school days, like most of school through high school as academically boring with a few exceptions. Socially, I met some of the most interesting people I would ever come to know and I regret not keeping in touch. Growing up in Brooklyn was such a rich and colorful experience.
