Life
My prince, Jeff, and I have been married for 31 years. We have three wonderful children. My oldest son, Jeff, is a Captain in the U. S. Army and is an Apache Helicopter pilot. My son Jason is a former Lieutenent Jr. Grade in the U. S. Navy (he was a Nuclear Propulsion Officer on an Attack Submarine) and is currently an Engineer working for Exxon-Mobile Corporation. His wife, Tibonnie gave birth to my first grandchild, Ryan on July 11, 2006 and is expecting her second later this year. My daughter, Jennifer, married her prince, David this past year. David was a Lieutenant in the U. S. Airforce, but now works for Bechtel. Jennifer graduated from UCLA. She was a Show Coordinator for California Gift Shows in Los Angeles but now lives in Franklin, Wisconsin with David. My husband recently retired after 32 years of public service. He had been the Community Development Director for the City of Redlands. I had been a homemaker. Jeff and I began retirement at the beginnin...Expand for more
g of this year.....looking forward to years of enjoyment.
School
I graduated from La Puente High Shool in 1968. My sister and I excelled in sports. You name it we played it!
College
I attended Mt. San Antonio College out of high shool. I eventually went on to obtain my Associate Arts Degree from Crafton College.
Workplace
No I never flipped burgers. My first job out of school was for Mattel's where I put Barbies together. Those were wild years. Then I was on to Kmart where I was a Cosmetic Department Manager. That is where I learned that long lashes gave me "the look." After training in the Reserves, I was qualified and obtained a job at the Welfare Department for the County of Los Angeles as a unit clerk. This office was "out of control" and stories I dare not tell. After I was married I obtained a secretarial job with the Department of the Navy at Port Hueneme. Then came my family and I concentrated on raising my three wonderful children.
Military
Join the Army and see the world. Okay, my brother talked me into it. I joined the Army Reserves in December 1973. My first assignment was schooling. I attended the Administrative Clerk/typist Course at Fort Dix, New Jersey and graduated in August of 1974. My first assignment was the 364th Heavy Maintence Supply Co. located in Long Beach, CA. It is here that I met my prince and future husband Jeff. Later I transferred to the 425th Civil Affairs Company in Santa Barbara, CA. and stayed with Reserves until the birth of my first child.
