My first job was for what is now the League of American Theatres and Producers, then on to work as the production secretary for the 1976 Broadway revival of "My Fair Lady." After that, I needed a "real" job, so went to work in the legal and corporate affairs departments of Philip Morris (now known as the Altria Group), transferring to Washington when my former boss opened the lobbying office. ext job was for the General Counsel of the Association of Trial Lawyers, where I was promoted a couple of times and ended up in Human Resources. I am now with the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, as the HR Director, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have worked for and learned from some of the most wonderful people on the planet, the kind who aren't afraid to help you develop and grow.
