Irene's Story
The Monday after graduation I jumped into an Executive Secy position for an engineering firm in Mineola. Imagine this - when I went on the job interview...I wore a suit and gloves!
I married young at age 20 and continued working until the birth of my first son in 1968. I was a stay-at-home mom, and while expecting my daughter I began typing at home for for an attorney. In 1975 we thought we'd have one more child, and instead had undiagnosed-before-birth twin sons. I confess that was the highlight of my life!

0. I have been divorced for 13 years, continue to live in my home in West Islip where I have lived for 40 years! The children are scattered - in Las Vegas and Florida, and I now have 4 grandaughters...and one on the way! I have been an office manager for a Chiropractor in West Islip for 15 years.
I love to cook, and my garden is my pride and joy. I am a walker, and you'll see me at 6:30am most days walking with my Chocolate Lab. I love to be with my friends and just have fun! As one would guess, I am also a "frequent flyer" to both Vegas and FL.
