Iris's Story

I moved to California in 1973 and have been here ever since. I got married in 1984 and I have three adult children, ages 27, 30, & 33. I am a widow, my husband died in 2005, from complications of Diabetes. So, if you have diabetes, take it seriously! I live in Turlock, CA in central California. I have been self employed as a licensed home daycare provider for 10 years. My mother came to live with me in 2...Expand for more
009 due to advancing Alzheimer Disease. Working from home allowed me to provide the best at home care for her. Mom passed away in May 2019. I continue to do childcare and will probably continue for the foreseeable future. Working, taking care of the kids and the house and now selling Avon, take up most of my time. Life is good and the Lord has been faithful. I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
