Irma's Story
I'm Back!! It is now August 2014. My family just keeps growing. Marty and I now have 9 grandchildren. We welcomed my daughter's first baby last June...our sweet Lucie Jean. And we just got the news of another baby coming next year.....Yay!!
I watch my three younger grandkids almost on a daily basis, so my days are pretty busy, I love spending time with them and making great memories. Marty and I get a vacation every once in a while. We love going to Disneyland!! Next year we're planning on going to the Bahamas on the Rock Legends Cruise with.....guess who? Yep, the Doobie Brothers!! What can I say, t's gonna be awesome! I can't wait!!!
We're also hoping to take a trip to Europe next year and visit Italy, Rome, Paris, London, Spain, and parts of Germany, We've waited a long time for this vacation.

Ok, it is now June 2011. Where has the time gone? I'm a Nana again and expecitng another grandchild this September. My youngest son Kris got married in May and it was a beautiful wedding... I love my new daughter (n-law). Life has been pretty busy for me and my family, but still, I give thanks to God for his blessings. I get to watch my Lil Kris almost evey day. He brings so much joy to our family. I can't wait for the new baby....I love being Nana!! Not much time for outside activities, so I have nothing to report on that, but my husband and I will be taking a vacation to Disneyland and Universal Studios in July, really looking forward to that. What happened to 2009?
Well, we had a good year and we look forward to an awesome 2010!
I ended the year with a huge family gathering on Christmas Eve. We celebrated my parent's 60th Anniversary. Wow, what an inspiration!
I spent New Year's Eve with the Doobie Brothers in Tempe. What a great way to start the New Year.
As you can see by my pictures, I ran in the PF Chang Rock 'n' Roll 1/2 Marathon in January. This was my first time running a 1/2 marathon. What an awesome experience. I must say that I give all the glory to God because I could have never made it on my own. I wasn't really prepared and I didn't do any real training for the run, but the Lord's hand was in this from the beginning. Will I run another 1/2 marathon again? I don't know. Maybe I should quit while I'm ahead ;) .
This year we look forward to the arrival of another grandchild. Kris and Stacey are expecting a Boy the end of May. I am so excited!
I look forward to all the blessings God has for me and my family and whatever challenges may come, I give him praise for his Faithfulness, Enduring Love, and his Peace.

Summer is here and it's pretty darn HOT here in Phoenix!!
Well, we had a beautiful wedding in April. Our little Kati is now Mrs. Josh McClintock. On July 3rd, our grand daughter, Elizabeth Sue Suastez was born. We couldn't be more happier and excited. We just keep getting more and more blessed. God is Good!

It's 2009! Another year older!!
Now that the holidays are behind us, it's time to move on to new and better things.
We have a couple of things to look forward to this year: Marty's oldest daughter, Sara, is expecting her first child in July. We are very happy and excited about it. Marty's youngest daughter, Kati, is getting married this April. I'll be posting pictures to share with you. ...Expand for more
Our family just keeps growing. It's a wonderful blessing, thanks to the good Lord. I'm waiting patiently for my other 2 kids, Kris and Lindsay, to give us the news of upcoming weddings. I know it will happen, I just have to wait on God's timing. "Better things are yet to come, better things are still to be done". May you all have a fantastic 2009, and my God's love, mercy, and grace fill your lives. Enjoy and make the most of everyday, it's a gift.

Summertime 2008
Summer is here and it's very hot here in AZ. I've been pretty busy the last few months. My oldest son, Yancy, got married in June. The Lord blessed us with a beautiful, cool day. My other two kids, Lindsay and Kris caught the bouquet and garter. They say I'll be planning weddings for the next two years ... HELP!! I guess it only takes one to get the ball rolling.
One sad thing that happened during the week of the wedding was that I had to miss a DOOBIE BROTHERS CONCERT:( I never miss a concert! Oh, the things we do for our kids ;). I wonder if Pat Simmons missed me, hmmm?
I won't be doing much traveling this summer ... too hot and high gas prices, but Marty and I am planning on going to Orlando later in October, and yes, we'll be going to Disney World!! I'm excited about that!

Hi there,
Where do I start. Too much has happened in the last 30 years, so I'll just give you a brief summary.
The Lord has truly blessed me in so many ways. I have a wonderful husband, Marty, who has shared my life for 15 years, I have 3 amazing children: Yancy 31, Lindsay, 28, and Kristopher 27. Marty gave me 2 beautiful step-daughters: Sara 23 and Kati 18. And last but not least, I have 2 loving grandkids: Vianca 7 and Ethan 5. I'm patiently waiting for more grandkids.
We started our new life together here in AZ than moved to Houston, TX in '94. We lived there for 8 years then decided we wanted to get back to the great Arizona weather so we moved back in 2002. We currently live in a beautiful home in the NW area (Arrowhead) and attend Christ Church of the Valley.
My business keeps me pretty busy. I provide Identity Theft and Security Protection to companies, businesses, and individuals.
That's it in a nutshell, if you want to know more, well, we'll just have to get together sometime.
