I've lived in Marrero, LA. for the past fifty-two years. I have four handsome sons and two beautiful daughters. I have 15 precious grandchildren, 20 adorable great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way. I took an early semi-retirement due to a back injury. I love cooking, gardening, swimming and laying out by the pool, antique shopping, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I always wanted to be a poet or writer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a silly idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I blow off steam by chillin with a glass of wine by our pool or going for a long drive. The wildest thing I ever did in school was skip out to meet my boyfriend and secretly spend the day at my sister's new apartment. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have music, diet coke, and a good sense of humor to be able to deal with the day-to-day issues. My heroes have and will always be my loving parents.
