Isaiah's Story

Life My Life Life is great, the good times, bad times and even the so-so times; are truly a blessing. I am learning to be grateful, and not to complain like I use to. I spend most of my time working, reading, relaxing, and listening to good music. How can I forget about spending time with my wife? LOL As I have gotten older, my choice of music has changed. I prefer gospel over everything, and secondly neo-soul. I am also very much into politics, an I plan on representing Jasper County High one day when I make a bid for the U.S. House, and ultimately the U.S. Senate. Some have laughed, a few have even said it's impossible. My response is, "through God, all things are possible" so wait and see! Again, life is a great experience ... make the most of it, and enjoy it to the fullest! School How can I begin? Well, Jasper County High School brings back memories of good times, and growing pains. If I could go back in time- I would change only a few things as it pertains to my high school experience. The one thing that comes to mind most would be studying harder, and taking school more seriously. The other thing is getting involved in student government. As the saying goes hindsight is always 20/20... but we live and learn. Other than that, the friends, memories and school spirit was a great experience! College College College was an experience for me. There was a time when I thought it was impossible to obtain a baccalaureate degree. Impossible, because I was in the U.S. Air Force, and it was very hard to attend school while working full time. However, through hard work, dedication, and God's will; I have received two associate degree's an a bachelors. It had to be God that got me through Chemistry and College Algebra. Two of my professors at Claflin University were from India, and they were no joke! I would have to say that some of my favori...Expand for more
te classes were Stats, State & Local Government, Biology, World Literature, Criminal Investigations and U.S. Government. The worst two are mentioned up above. I am also in the process of moving to San Antonio, Texas where I plan to attend the University of Texas, San Antonio to pursue a MBA; or the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's extended campus at Randoulph Air Force Base to pursue a Masters of Science in Management with a specialization in Avaition & Aerospace Security. Well, that's pretty much it for me as far as education is concerned. Workplace Work During my life time I have had numerous job. In high school it was Food Lion, then the USAF, and so on. The active duty Air Force was probably my toughest job. There were good times, but also times when I just wanted to quit. However, the experience I would not trade for anything. During my Air Force travels I visited such places as: Texas, Alabama, New York, Germany, England and Greece. I currently serve in the Air Force Reserve where I work in health care administration. In my civilian career, I work as an investigator for a corporate and criminal investigations firm. I am also happy to announce that on Sept 3, 04 I started my very own small company; Precise Consulting & Investigations,LLC. My philosphy is start off small and grow with patience. Currently I will be conducting minor investigations in Texas until I move back to SC. The company's website will be up in the near future.
