Iva's Story
Life
I am doing fairly well! I have owned my own business, worked for the City of Big Bear Lake for almost 14 years and now love living in Oregon!! My "children" are 24 and 21, now! Both are doing pretty good. :) I am engaged to be married - no date yet set ... and am entering the realm of entrepreneur-ship! I worked for a fuels/lubricants business in Eugene for about 2.5 years and was cut from the team! (Hopefully, due to the current economy! They wouldn't really explain the cut!) My parents are still alive - Dad just turned 90. Mom has Alzheimer's (no fun at all) and life is very interesting, indeed!
School
In looking back - It seemed to take so long to get out of school but it really goes by fast, doesn't it? I enjoyed all the hours of Band practice (rehearsing/marching) and all the people that I met. My High School years were some of my best ...Expand for more
- thanks to most of you! My only regret is that I was so consumed with Band that many other potential friends were looked over. Guess it's all about choices, huh! Softball was fun as was tennis. Even though I was a "crazy teen-aged girl", most of you know that I really did love Steve! Wow - that was another life!
Workplace
Now I am beginning to venture into realms of the unknown! My Fiance, Johnny, and I are training in real estate investment. We are consultants for a company that is really trying to help people to keep their homes - in this terrible time that many are experiencing in real estate.
