Iwona's Story

Just a bit of an update on the last almost 50 years! Will be married to the same man for 50 years in about 2 years. Finally retired this year from a great and wonderful position with Nabors Offshore. We are ready to spend our last few years together traveling and enjoying life at a much slower pace. Like many others, health issues creep in to our lives, which does play a part in how life takes us. George is recuperating from the removal of his right kidney due to 2 very large masses on the outside of his right kidney which were malignate. But, he is doing great and does not have to undergo any further treatments. W...Expand for more
e give much praise to our Heavenly Father for seeing us through this scary time in our life. We have 3 children - Chuck, Wes & Twila. Each have 2 children - so we have been blessed with 3 wonderful children and 6 grandchildren. Our oldest grandchild, Amanda, graduated this year. Both sons live here in Deer Park and our daughter lived in Alaska for the past 4 years. We are very blessed to have visited with she and her family each year. Would not want to live in Ak, but love to visit - maybe someday I can share a few of our favorite photos of our trips. Hope all of you have had as wonderful of a life as I have had.
