Joe's Story
Hello everyone! I am looking forward to hopefully seeing everyone at our next class reunion.
My wife Teresa and I live in Melissa, Texas with our two children Joey and Ashley who are currently attending college. We met while I was attending Auburn University, soon after I graduated we married and moved back to Texas to work in the high-tech industry.
For the past 30 years, my career in design and engineering has been a great experience allowing me to travel the world, get 7 patents and work for great companies such Texas Instruments, Raytheon and Motorola where I am currently employed as a Principle Mechanical Engineer.
My interest in cars has not changed, since I had my '68 Camaro in high school. I have owned several Corvettes and currently have a Viper. I hope to meet up wit...Expand for more
h fellow car enthusiast. Our classmates had some cool cars back in high school, I remember admiring a blue '69 Z-28, a maroon '65 Corvette and few new Trans Am's and Camaro's that are now collectible classics.
During my senior year I lost focus and dropped out of high school but deep down I knew education was the key to the future I wanted. The following year I went back to high school to graduate and continued on to Eastfield Community College then transferred to Auburn University earning my Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design.
Dropping out of high school and not being able to graduate with my classmates, class of 1981, is the biggest regret of my life, but I think it was part of God's plan to wake me up to pursue and work towards the future that I am now living . . . I thank God.
