JONATHAN's Story
new developments to my life.
After about 40 years of 7 hip operations, 1 year in Veteran's Hospital (as a reward for 30 months in Nam, I suppose! ..lol) with failing liver (Hep C from bad blood) saved by Interferon and Ribavirin combo, I broke my neck falling off my bicycle trying to avoid a bad automobile driver ( who kept going, never to be seen). Spent 6 months in a halo bolted into my head. Got some deep deep divots in my forehead and back of head Decided I wanted to live in my wife's country, so married her, moved to Thailand. That was 8 years ago. Then, had a need for heart surgery in May this year. . Flew to states, did the surgery, stayed there for 2 week as I readied for return trip. Coming back, I had to quarantine ( this was middle of July this year) in a hospital/hotel. Doctors, nurses, medicine...everything. And COULD NOT LEAVE ROOM FOR ANY PURPOSE.....NOT EVEN TO HALLWAY except to have covid test once a week, 3 times total.

e and my co-pays , flight fees, hotel and auto rental, medications I was out $10,000 most of my savings . I am 70 , as are the rest of us!.... So, with my hip, neck, liver (Hep C from bad blood from surgeries in the 70s ), I am in serious trouble. If I get sick or have an accident, I will really be in trouble. My wife set up a GiveSendGo, the Christian equivalent of a charity dealie... Reading her naration,it is easy to see English is her 2nd language. I will not correct it, as it makes me smile to see what she has written. But I did write an update.
Hope everyone is happy healthy and full of joy in spite of the evil in our nation today.
I hope it can help. Now my medications, all these new medications, are expensive. And I am behind the 8 ball as it is.
Oh well...I have faith that God will steer me through these troubled waters as He always has.
