Jack's Story
I graduated from Bosse High in Evansville,Indiana in 1956 but attended Westfield, NJ, Scotch Planes, NJ, Princeton, NJ schools prior to moving to Evansville in 1955.
Came to Chicago to continue my education after high school and have been here ever since except for my time in the Military.
Spent 2 years on Army active duty. (1961-1963). Graduated 2nd LT. from OCS in 1962 and went to Airbirne school. Final assignment was Commanding General's aide at Fort Monmouth, NJ 1963.
Founded Dytec/ Central in 1976 which was an Electronics Manufacturers Represeentitive firm specializing in Hi Tech Instrumentat...Expand for more
ion and Microwave Components. In 1980 I founded Peak Technologies ,inc. which was the Distrubution Arm of Dytec/ Central focusing on Computer Peripherals , mainly hi speed Printers and Bar Code printing and reading equipment.
Peak Technologies became a publically held company in 1990 with its stock trading on the NASDEC board.
In 1995 I retired after selling all 4 companies that grew out of Dytec/Central.
Still living in the Chicago/ northern Illinois area and enjoying having all 3 children and the 6 grand children living close by. Life is good!
Also still playing with Antique and Classic Cars.
