Jack's Story

Life Grew up around the beach, school in El Segundo. Went in the Navy right out of school. Was married (more than once) for 20 years, 2 children. Raced Top Fuel cars for 10 years. Started a business for a few years. Have 2 grand children. Did precision machining in aerospace. Worked on film systems at the Walt Disney Studios and was a Principal Special Effects Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering for over 28 years and I've traveled world wide for them. Still play with cars and now in the middle of building another blown fuel Chrysler. Spent the last 18 months restoring...Expand for more
one of the old Sidewinder dragsters. Also restored a chopped '50 Cad push car. Was a valley guy for the last 35 years. Just recently moved to Thousand Oaks and got a nice road bike. Having fun peddling all over the area. Retired from Disney and now do Prototype Mechanical Design & Consulting for Disney and other Companies. Busier now than when I had a real job. Life is good. Military Went in the Navy in November 1960. Electricity and Electronics prep school, then the Nuclear Weapons training center. Stationed on the USS Forrestal and made 1 Med cruise. Out in Jan. '64
