Jack's Story
First of all, how are all of you doing? I hope your lives have been as rewarding as mine. Consider myself very lucky to have met a wonderful lady in college. Married now for 41 years. After graduating from Sacramento State in 1971, attended grad school at Cal Poly/SLO and began coaching P.E. and sports in Arroyo Grande for 34 years. Also became a real estate broker and maintained a successful sales business for 32 years. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. We retired from teaching in 2006 and moved to Pagosa Springs (elevation: 7,000 ft.), in the southwest corner of Colorado. Our son, Kody, and his lovely wife, Carrie, with grandkids Skyler (age 8) and Mariah (age 6), live on our 8 acres with us. Chickens, goats, pigs and ...Expand for more
an occasional steer live with us amongst the ponderosa pines, cedars and firs. Hunting and fishing is big in our lives; wife Marsha shot her 1st bull elk last season. We both substitute teach in the local school district and I have been coaching varsity baseball and jr high basketball. Our incredible daughters, Korie and Kara, live busy lives with family and businesses. Korie is a new Mom with a 8 month old son, Rohn, live on a 40 acre ranch overlooking Cayucos, and work hard in many businesses located in San Luis Obispo. Kara married military, Air Force Major, and currently live in The Netherlands with our precious granddaughters, Hailey (age 8) and Leea (age 5). Here is hoping happiness to all of my old classmates.
