Jack's Story
Life
Since graduating from high school I went to UCI and played baseball there for two years before signing on to play with the San Francisco Giants and then the Oakland A' s. After four years in the California league (minors) I hung up the spikes and got into the car business where I have been since. I am still happily married to the same fellow Vaquero, Kathy Sottosanti, and we live in Wrightwood Ca and have four awesome daughters.We moved there about ten years ago from Orange Hills. The best thing I have done since marrying the best person in the world is moving out of Orange County and now am living in Gods country. Wrightwood is beautiful, clean, safe, crime and smog free and is So Cals best kept secret, plus our high school is defending CIF champs in football, soccer, cross country and baseball. Our home games at Serrano High School draw a crowd of 4 to 5 thousand people for every game. My oldest daughter is a freshman at Long Beach State after graduating with HIGH honors and a 4.3 gpa. The two next to the oldest are a junior and a freshman at Serrano and they both are involved in softball and volleyball, (against dads wishes but with my total support). e I have come to hate the politics involved in the current sports scene. Our youngest is in sixth grade and I think she wants to take after her mom and be a cheerleader. We are very involved in our local church and are a family that puts Jesus Christ first in our lives. However believe it or not I am still the rebel that loves to hit the heavy metal scene as well as classic rock and roll.I am a die hard conservative and George Bush lover because I have enough brains to not watch cnn and I dont get fooled by the liberal media. In other words I hate liberals and their assinine way of belief as well as the hollywood type who I know are a bunch of phonies. I absolutely hate the car business and am trying to get out, but when you are used to making six figures year in and year out its hard. So I got rid of the new cars and all the phony extras and am trying to get a normal 9 to 5, five day a week job. My mom and dad are still alive and live in Arizona and Kathys mom and dad live in Stanton. In 2001 my little brother died of AIDS and as you can imagine that was and still is a huge loss in myself and my families life.So in case anybody really does read this thats my life basically since high school.
