Jack's Story
Life
While my profile is under the name of Jack most of you know me by Greg or your personal nicknames. I, like all of us, am getting older but enjoying life more. After attending East Carolina University I pulled my tour with the Army and returned to North Carolina. I married my senior year in college and have been happily married to my wife Sheila for 35 years! We raised two great kids. My son Shaun is a Veterinarian and my daughter Jennifer is a Senior DNA analyst
specializing in bone marrow matching for transplants.
I retired in 1999 after 17 years in the insurance industry and 11 years as an independent risk management consultant. My time now is devoted to buying and selling exotic cars, photography and spending a lot of time at the coast boating and chilling out. Life is good but I will always remember ...Expand for more
the times at Stuart! I never felt like I was in with the in-crowd but I felt comfortable being friends with anybody who was honest and sincere regardless of what their socioeconomic backgroud was. JEB Stuart was a unique blend of students ranging from the wealthy to the lower middle class but there never seemed to be a great distinction except in some peoples minds.
I would love to be contacted by other grads from 67 to 71 to talk about old times and new times.
In closing I would like to tell you that my first true love who went to Woodsen instead of Stuart appeared in my life 5 years ago and only lives 10 miles away. We have a great friendship and love to laugh about the innocence we shared back then. anyway, for those who don't remember who Jack Johnson was try Greg Johnson
