Jack's Story
When I left New Bern, I left some very special things to me behind. (Potters and Singletons) I joined the Navy. I was a submarine sailor for 8 years. I was married in 1990 to a virginia girl, I had two children with her. We were divorced 6 years later in 1996. I got out of the Navy inb 1995 after coming home from Operation Desert Storm. I was looking for something to give meaning to my life, I thought I found it in drugs and Alcohol. eced to serve 1 day less than 2 years to 1 day less than 5 years plus 5 years. The state of Pennsylvania owned me for 10 years. I served my time and got paroled, I me my current wife in 2003, we married and have 3 beautiful children, 1 girl and 2 boys, that make 5 total for those that are counting. I currently sell Insurance and reside in Harrisburg Pa. Did I surprise anyone, remember I was in Mrs Sneeden class in Middle School for my attitude problems. I hope some can read this and find the same solitude that I did that drugs are not the answer.
