OK, here goes... After being lead out the door of CHS, I entered the US Coast Guard in July of 71. Served on a high endurance cutter out of NY, search and rescue helicopter base in Brooklyn and an ice breaker out of Seattle. While in, was trained as an Engineman(gas, diesel and jet engine mechanic), Navy trained Scuba Diver, helicopter Air Crewman, Refrigeration Mechanic and EMT. After six years in the Coast Guard, bought a Harley and bummed around for a few years. Worked at Boeing and Burlington Northern RR, but logged a lot of time working in bars up in Seattle(learned bar tending in NYC on the weekends while in the CG, made more in tips in one night than I did in a week in the service) . While working at Boeing on swing shift, I earned an AA degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management at a local CC during the day. Came back to Calie in the early eighties to work with my dad and brother in Fargos Pizza Parlor in the Old Mill Shopping Center. My dad and a partner bought the Old Mill Shopping Center in Mt.
