Jack's Story

Was prompted by Freddy O’Pry to share an update, so here’s an extremely brief life story: Hi Freddy, you ask how I ended up in Portland OR- it was simply a matter of the best/most interesting job offer I had after graduate school. With an MS in chemistry, I went to work for an electronics company (Tektronix). Wasn’t sure how long I would stay in Oregon so I made sure I caught a salmon, climbed a mountain with a glacier (Mt Hood), and learned to snow ski. Things turned out well so I stayed. Later worked for Maxim Integrated and had lots of international business (Japan, UK...Expand for more
, Germany, China, Taiwan, Singapore). I now spend most of my time now near Tillamook OR where we have a place on the Trask River. Still have a house in Portland; all our grandkids are there. You should look up my wife Arlene on Amazon. After a career in the electronics industry, she has become a successful author writing cozy mysteries. Her main characters are a bunch of quilters :). We just returned from a national quilt show in Paducah KY where she had a booth selling books. Keeps me busy. Well, take care and hope you and all our fellow Greenies are well. Regards, Jack

Well, got a little one. Look carefully. Maybe one more hiding or just a singleton?
